In the 1790s, Edward Camp and family had moved from North Carolina and lived in the Ninety-Six District of South Carolina. Camps concentrated in Pendleton, Greenville, and Laurens Counties. I recently found David and Temperance Camp Watkins families buried in a cemetery outside of Anderson, SC, as well as a booklet at the Anderson County Library by one of the Watkins desendants. The informative work covers Edward Camp's daughter Temperance and his close relations with the Watkins family while still in North Carolina. By 1800, Edward and Nathan Camp they had moved to Franklin County, GA.
