Twenty years later, at the 1810 census, all of TN but the west portion was divided into sizable counties. Soon Nathan Camp would be in the Mississippi Territory, later to be Northern Alabama near Huntsville (where I live currently). Some of Nathan's cousin Camps would begin to settle in Lincoln and Franklin County, TN near the Elk River. I visited the area and found a Kemp burial site which was nothing more than a large grove in the middle of a farmer's field.
